MEET THE EXPERT #2 with Dennis Luijer: Applying #Storytelling to the strategic design of meetings & events.

Yesterday we celebrated with success the second edition of Meet the Expert, a series of events designed with the Event Canvas Methodology and organized by the Creative dots for our community of Event Designers and tCd fans, eager to innovate within their corporate event strategy.

Yesterday we discovered one of the most innovative tools for event design: the strategic storytelling by Dennis Luijer, Story Engagement Engineer of the Event Design Collective.

The event has positioned itself as the most powerful and influential strategic communication and marketing tool within companies. And they are increasingly aware that it is no longer enough to plan events; it is necessary to create unique, memorable experiences that provide differential value. In order to do this, time must be devoted to the design of events and the creation of common co-creation spaces for the event owner and the event planner.

How do we tell the story of our event? How do we involve all stakeholders in its design? How do we generate the behavioural transformation we want?

We answered these questions in a dynamic and interactive day of knowledge in which attendees experienced their ability to tell stories through a visual language and established a dialogue with the international expert Dennis Luijer, who encouraged them to tell their own story.

Dennis Luijer insisted on the importance of storytelling to make ideas tangible and to establish a common co-creation space for the design of the event, between the event planner and the event owner.

Making the history of the event visible and tracing the experiential steps necessary to achieve the objective of the event, through visual language, minimizes risks and obtains greater profitability.

This second edition of Meet the Expert by tCd boosted creativity for the development of effective and innovative solutions. Meet the Expert are international meetings with the sole purpose of promoting the professional development of the Event Designer Community.

We would like to thank all those attending this second edition, who enjoyed this learning day in an inspiring space, the Sala Gobernador, the flagship space of Impact Hub.

MEET THE EXPERT is also an intergenerational meeting point and a space to listen and empathize with new generations. For this reason, we promote alliances with academic institutions. On this occasion we had the presence of two students from the ESODE Business School.

Thanks to the collaborators, innovative companies within the Sector, with disruptive products that contributed to the generation of a unique experience: El Antiguo Convento (Catering), AV by RMR Audiovisuales and Only You Atocha.
