We successfully held the first Meet the Expert edition, a series of events designed with the Event Canvas Methodology and organized by the Creative dots for our community of Event Designers and tCd fans, eager to innovate within their corporate event strategy.
We focused on one of the pending subjects of the Events Sector: the ROI of events, by the hand of Elling Hamso, international expert creator of the Event ROI Methodology.
The emergence of new technologies is transforming the way we relate to our clients and obtain valuable information about them and their needs in all sectors. How is this affecting the events sector? Where are we? What is behind the data we collect at an event?
Yesterday we answered these questions in a dynamic and knowledge day during which attendees discovered qualitative and quantitative KPIs that can be measured by setting objectives and measuring results in six levels.
The key to ensuring the success of an event is to devote time to its design (through Innovation Methodologies) and the definition, a priori, of what you want to measure. By establishing the indicators that will make our event profitable, we will be able to measure, analyse and make decisions. Or what is the same: we will achieve greater efficiency, more satisfied clients and competitive advantages.
Without a doubt, this design phase, together with technology, facilitates data collection, the evaluation of behavioural change and attendee satisfaction... but data are only figures. "Our great challenge continues to be to convert this data into information, facilitating decision-making and ensuring continuous improvement, edition by edition," says Ángeles Moreno.
The ROI Methodology and its application in the planning of events and meetings, aims to design events with a strategic value to obtain the best possible result expected of it, aligned with the business objectives of the company.
This edition Meet the Expert #1 by tCd is the first in a series of events that will feature the best experts from different areas of expertise to succeed in our way of designing transformative experiences.
